Democracy, censorship & the internet (III)

KARACHI: I am a Facebook application developer myself but I think it’s a good step to let the world know that Pakistanis are still alive as a nation.

Those who are condemning this act, thinking of it as a lockdown of freedom of speech, must acknowledge that this step has really caught the attention of the international media as well as of Facebook. In the past two days they have suffered a loss, even if small, because of their advertising model which generates revenue based on the number of times users click on each advertisement. I thank our judiciary.
