Pregnant Faryal Makhdoom does bridal shoot weeks after bitter split from Amir Khan

Her break up with boxer husband hasn't stopped her from doing what she loves

Clad in an array of glamorous bridal gowns, Faryal Makhdoom has definitely managed to stun many.

She shared snaps from behind the scenes of her shoot with Pakistani designer Sobia Nazir, where she described the apparel as “gorgeous” and “stunning.”

The 26-year old, who recently announced her second pregnancy through a post on Snapchat and is now three months pregnant, separated from boxer husband Amir Khan earlier this year after the couple exchanged many explosive tweets.

Amir took to Twitter to announce the split, “So me and the wife Faryal have agreed to split. I’m currently in Dubai. Wish her all the best.”

“Faryal moved on quick. Always mentioned to me how much she wanted to be with another guy, from all people another boxer @anthonyfjoshua,” he said in another tweet.

Faryal hit back, accusing the husband of lying and coming up with a fabricated story. She snapped back that it was in fact Amir who had been cheating on her and she had been putting up with that.

Faryal also spoke out against her inlaws and domestic abuse she had been facing after her marriage. However, Amir’s family denied the allegations, blaming Faryal’s western lifestyle for the fallout between the couple and the family. The feud also led to Amir ‘firing’ his father as his manager.

The model went on to voice her desire to get back with Amir and make things right for the sake of their unborn child. She even apologised to her inlaws for the unfortunate war of words.

However, the boxing champion did not see eye to eye with Faryal on that and shattered his wife's hopes by confirming his decision for the divorce, "Unfortunately it didn't work out between Me and Faryal and we are still going ahead with the divorce. We are in good talking terms,” he tweeted.

Nonetheless, even though Faryal is going through a break up whilst pregnant, it hasn't stopped her from doing what she loves and focusing on work.

And it seems like she wants to instill the same kind of strength and courage in her daughter's life. Faryal finally spoke up about the split this week for the first time since the twitter feud, revealing plans to raise her and Amir's three-year-old daughter Lamaisah to be "independent and strong".

"In life you go through really hard times and realise that you come into this world alone and you leave alone. So, I want my daughter to be an independent and strong woman,” Faryal told MailOnline.

She continued, "It's so important to concentrate on her studies and be independent and be an example for us Muslim women. Sometimes you need a man to depend on in certain cultures and religion but I think the most important thing is to be your own person."
