ISLAMABAD: In a major reshuffle, the federal government on Friday transferred and posted top three bureaucrats, The Express Tribune has learnt.

According to details, Shahrukh Arbab, Secretary Housing and Works, has been made officer on special duty (OSD) and his services have been handed over to the Establishment Division. The Establishment Division notified his appointment.

Additional Secretary at the Prime Minister Office, Babar Hassan Bharwana, has taken the place of Arbab by being appointed additional secretary in-charge of the Ministry of Housing and Works.

In another top-level reshuffle, additional secretary in-charge education or acting secretary education Shoaib Mir has been appointed chairman of State Life Insurance Corporation of Pakistan.

Arbab is an officer of basic pay scale (BPS) 22, while Mir and Bharwana are in BPS 21.
