
He visited the shuttle service on Tuesday and expressed dissatisfaction over poor cleanliness condition of canteen. He also reproached concerned departments of MCI and CDA over growth of wild bushes and grass in the area. Directors of environment, municipal administration, roads, sanitation and public relations accompanied the mayor.

Aziz directed the formations concerned to ensure provision of all facilities as per essence of contract agreement. He said people from all over the country daily use Diplomatic Shuttle Service, therefore, provision of services at site must be ensured.
He said that hundreds of people have to use shuttle service to approach embassies and other offices located in Diplomatic Enclave, therefore, its standard must be up to the mark so that people could be facilitated in better way.
At this Mayor was briefed about Diplomatic Shuttle Services which provide number of facilities to the people including car parking, baggage hold area for oversized bags, documents checks prior to issuing ticket for visiting embassies, computerised ticketing, economy and executive transport service including latest model air-condition coaches for economy class, latest model sedan cars for executive class, dedicated air-conditioned hall for executive class, free Internet service in executive hall, cafeteria with full breakfast and lunch facilities, washroom and praying facilities. It was further told that surveillance cameras had also been installed which work 24 hours.
