Sharif said crisis affects every sector of life

Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif said the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz government was focused on eliminating the energy crisis and restoring peace to the country.

“The PML-N took solid steps for the restoration of a lagging economy. Tremendous hard work has been gone into ensuring a peaceful, prosperous and economically self-reliant Pakistan for future generations.” He said one of the main reasons the country had been moving in the right direction was due to the untiring efforts of PML-N.


“Thousands of megawatts electricity has been added to the national grid due to the completion of a number of energy projects.” The CM continued that four major energy projects would be completed in a record period of 22 months and the completion of ongoing projects would ensure sufficient electricity in the future. He issued this statement while speaking to a delegation of PML-N office-bearers in London.

He said the energy crisis affected every sector of life including the national economy. Shehbaz stated that the energy crisis, lagging economy and ruined institutions were the gifts of former corrupt rulers. “On the other hand, we have rid the nation of these problems.”
