GILGIT: Gilgit-Baltistan Chief Secretary Dr Kazim Agha on Monday approved preparation of PC-1 for establishing a regional languages academy. The institution will encourage and promote regional languages, literature and art work in G-B. The approval was given during a meeting with Agha in the chair. The meeting deliberated on different proposals, suggestions and recommendations regarding establishment of the academy and devised guidelines for it. Agha said building of the academy would be constructed in Gilgit city, directing the authorities concerned to submit PC-I within a month. He directed starting of academy’s work in an alternative building till completion of its own building for people’s benefits.
