Ash took it back to her roots and was the perfect South Indian bride in her rich Kanjivaram. She was clad in a six-yard yellow dress adorned with golden thread work. Keeping it heavy on the jewellery, the former Miss World went for emeralds and diamonds – and we expected nothing less.

She kept her make-up and jewellery to a minimum, wearing just one statement-making piece – a regal emerald necklace.
4) Shilpa Shetty

The Phir Milenge star was draped in an extravagant sari designed by Tarun Tahiliani which was covered in 8000 Swarovski crystals, costing a whopping INR 50 lakhs.
Shilpa didn’t hold back on the jewellery either, channelling her inner queen with majestic kundan jewellery, festooned with uncut diamonds and emeralds.
5) Bipasha Basu

6) Karisma Kapoor

Though her marriage with businessman Sanjay Kapur didn't work out, the Raja Hindustani diva made a swoonworthy traditional bride.
