PESHAWAR: The master trainers of K-P Education Department on Friday demanded from the provincial government to pay them travel and dearness (TA/DA) allowances so that they could continue their professional work in most effective manner.

The master trainers made this appeal to Chief Minister Pervez Khattak and Education Minister Atif Khan during a training seminar held at Regional Institute of Teachers, Gul Bahar, Peshawar.

The training was being provided to master trainers by K-P Education Department with financial assistance of British Council UK.

Lead Master Trainer Asma Khan presented professional and other necessary training to around 35 master trainers of Peshawar and Nowshera.

Presently, these courses were being provided to master trainers at eight districts including Kohat, Mardan, Peshawar, Swat, Abbottabaqd, Malakand, Manshera and DI Khan.

The master trainers said they are facing great financial problems during posting at far-flung areas.
