Week-On-Week: SPI rises 0.05% 

Provisional figures released by Pakistan Bureau of Statistics

ISLAMABAD: The Sensitive Price Indicator (SPI) for the week ended October 26, 2017 registered an increase of 0.05% for the combined income group, going up from 225.23 points in the previous week to 225.34 points in the week under review.

Compared to the corresponding week of previous year, the SPI for the combined income group rose 2.15%. The SPI for the lowest income group increased 0.09% compared to the previous week.

Week-On-Week: SPI rises 0.59%  

The index for the group stood at 216.47 points against 216.27 in the previous week, according to provisional figures released by the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics. During the week, average prices of 10 items rose in a selected basket of goods, prices of 13 items fell and rates of remaining 30 goods recorded no change.
