Special lectures on Earth Day
Day being observed to spread awareness about the importance of a clean and a healthy environment.

Khanewal district officer (Environment) Fiaz Ali Qureshi said onThursday that Earth Day would be observed in the district on April 22 (today) to spread awareness about the importance of a clean and a healthy environment.
He said special lectures would be organised and pamphlets with information about environmental issues would be distributed among the people.
He said the day was observed all over the world and that people in Pakistan also needed to start working for a sustainable environment.
