Robber killed in encounter

On seeing the police, robber’s accomplices opened fire on the police team near Pull Jeeraywali

MULTAN: A suspected robber was killed in an encounter with police near Pir Colony in the limits of Shah Shams police station in Multan.

An official said a police team raided a hideout and arrested a robber identified as Ali Raza.  On seeing the police, the robber’s accomplices opened fire on the police team near Pull Jeeraywali.



During the exchange of fire between the police and robbers, accused Ali Raza suffered bullet injuries and he was killed on the spot. However, his accomplices fled the scene.
