RAWALPINDI: The Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) and Sustainable Development Policy Institute (SDPI) Pakistan signed a MoU on Friday to promote policy-oriented research and advocacy. RCCI President Zahid Latif Khan said the MoU is also meant for promotion and implementation of policies, programmes, laws and regulations based on sustainable development. RCCI and SDPI would jointly work for strengthening the relationship between civil society and the private sector through active facilitation and collaboration with other organisations. Both organisations would cooperate with each other in sensitising the business community about gender issues and respect for freedom of speech, equality, rule of law, and tolerance.
