Baisakhi festival: Indian Sikh pilgrims return home

LAHORE: Sikh yatrees, who had travelled to Pakistan from India to attend the Baisakhi festival, left for home on Wednesday. A special train service was launched for the pilgrims, who were seen off by officers of the Evacuee Trust Property Board (ETPB) at the Wagah Railway Station. The pilgrims, whose number is stated to be 1,400, stayed in Pakistan for ten days and visited Gurdwara Punja Sahib in Hassan Abdal. They also visited Nankana Sahib, Dera Rohri Sahib, Aimenabad, Kartarpur (Narowal) and Dera Sahib, Lahore, to perform rituals.
