Road accidents claim three lives

Four people injured; one critically

FAISALABAD: Three people were killed in different road accidents in Faisalabad. Police said 25-year-old Faisal, a resident of Shadab Colony, was riding a motorcycle when it collided with a rickshaw. As a result, he suffered head injuries and died on the spot.

Traffic accidents show no sign of slowing down

In yet another incident, a speedy bus hit a motorcycle at Baloch Chowk killing Manzoor. Three others were also injured in the incident, who were identified as Allah Bux, Zohran Bibi and four-month-old Ashiq.

Accident victim support programme launched

The injured were rushed to the Allied Hospital for treatment. Meanwhile, a speedy car hit two pedestrians Abdul Jabbar and his friend Nasir near 92 Wala Pull on Khurarianwala-Jaranwala Road. As a result, Abdul Jabbar died on the spot while Nasir was shifted to hospital in critical condition.
