The petition was filed by Sajjadur Rehman, brother of the deceased.
LAHORE:
The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Wednesday sought replies from the foreign and interior ministries and the capital city police officer within two weeks on a petition seeking recovery of the vehicle that crushed to death Ibadur Rehman at Qurtaba Chowk in January.
The petition was filed by Sajjadur Rehman, brother of the deceased.
He said that more than three months had passed, but the government had not taken any action to arrest the driver or impound the vehicle.
The petitioner asked the court to direct the respondents to arrest the killer and recover the vehicle.
