LAHORE: The first online Heart Code Basic Life Support course has commenced in collaboration with the American Heart Association at the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan (CPSP).

PMDC warns against unrecognised courses

The course continued at CPSP Headquarters Karachi and Regional Centre, Lahore, simultaneously. As many as 30 undertraining supervisors and doctors are getting training at CPSP Karachi and Lahore respectively.

Prof Abrar Ashraf Ali, Prof Kamran Khalid Khawaja, Dr Ahmad Uzair Qureshi, Dr Ahsan Masood, Dr Muhammad Umar and Dr Aqeela Rashid imparted training to the undertraining supervisors and doctors of this international heart code basic life support course.

In this course, the trainee doctors were given training of CPR and ECC according to the newly issued guidelines of the American Heart Association.
