Data entry of 841 villages completed

855 issues related to land record transfer were resolved

SARGODHA: The district Land Record Management and Information System (LRMIS) completed data entry of 841 villages, while the process for the remaining eight villages was under way.

District Service Centre Incharge Tayyab Bashir said that data verification process of 823 villages had been completed by the department and verification of 19 villages was also in process. He added that 773 villages had been notified and notification of 20 cases was pending.

He pointed out that 855 issues related to land record transfer were resolved while 50,000 cases were pending in the district from the year 2014. Bashir maintained that the number of pending cases decreased to 2,740. He said a total of 16,942 cases of notified revenue estate were received, which were reduced to 395 in 2017, while 55 pending cases had also been resolved.

He said 20,000 mutation cases of notified revenue estate were missing since 2014, adding that all mutations had been recovered. He said 114 issues out of 2,593 non-notified revenue estate and 386 cases from 9,284 mutation issues had also been resolved.
