The arrests were made in connection with the killing of a policeman at Keenjhar link road near Dad Leghari on Monday.
On Monday, assailants blocked Keenjhar link road and were mugging travellers when a police team from the Dad Leghari police station arrived at the scene. An encounter ensued, and a policeman, Qadir Bux Rind, was shot. He died on the way to the hospital.
The next day, a heavy contingent of police led by the Dad Leghari SHO Bahar Din Keeriyo searched every house in Bari Ado Pitafi village. They apprehended 10 people, including a woman.
According to witnesses, the police also took some cattle with them.
