ISLAMABAD: The CDA on Thursday declared that two housing schemes operating in the capital were illegal as it moved to cancel the No Objection Certificates (NOC) issued to three housing schemes. The Capital Development Authority (CDA) Directorate of Housing Societies has declared as illegal the Tele Town Housing Scheme in Moza Gora Mast, Zone-V and the Icon Gardens Apartments in Moza Gogota Syedan, Zone-V. The CDA directorate stated that the sponsors of these illegal housing schemes and land sub-divisions have failed to obtain the requisite approval and NOC from the civic body. Moreover, the Housing Societies Directorate has withdrawn NOCs for the layout plan of three housing schemes including those of the Soan Garden Housing Scheme in Zone – V, Roshan Pakistan Housing Scheme in Zone-II, and the Pak Medical Housing Scheme in Sector E-11. The NOCs were cancelled after the housing schemes failed to comply with the directions of CDA.
