KARACHI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Faisal Vawda met Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) Chairperson Mustafa Kamal and other PSP leaders at their office on Monday in a bid to publicly express his stance against his own party for entering talks with the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) - Pakistan for an alliance.

The PSP general secretary said that Vawda called on Kamal and his party president, Anis Kaimkhani, to felicitate them for performing Hajj. However, during the meeting, the overall political situation of the country was discussed and both agreed to stay in touch, he added.

A game is being played in the current political scenario, said Vawda while speaking to the media. He said that he will talk to his party's top leadership over PTI's tilt towards MQM-Pakistan.

PTI and MQM-Pakistan are in talks over an alliance to remove Pakistan Peoples Party's Khursheed Shah as the opposition leader in the National Assembly and over a joint campaign in the upcoming election.

"I have told my boss that an alliance with the MQM is a bad decision," he said, commenting that MQM-Pakistan and MQM-London were one and the party split is just a drama. "Farooq Sattar is still in touch with London and sends money there."
