105 arrested in Peshawar

PESHAWAR: The city police arrested 105 outlaws including eight proclaimed offenders and recovered a cache of weapons and drugs from their custody on Monday. The arrested POs were identified as Arshad Ali, Tahseenullah, Zaiul Islam, Mukhtyar, Said Amin, Asad Iqbal, Shah Mindad and Zulfaqar Ali. The police also recovered two hand grenades, 25 packets of explosive material, 48 pistols, 81 rifles, five Kalashnikovs and hundreds of cartridges besides 200 grams of hashish, 400 grams of heroin and 10 bottles of liquor. The police have registered cases and investigations are underway.
