Library Management: KU workshop starts on April 19

KU dept of library and information science will organise a workshop from April 19 to April 21.

KARACHI: University of Karachi’s (KU) department of library and information science will organise a workshop on library and information management from April 19 to April 21. The workshop’s main objective is to create awareness and provide practical training on library management softwares, including WINISIS and ABCD, which can help with bibliographic information and developing textual databases. Computer technicians and librarians from different organisations will attend the programme to learn new techniques to manage their libraries and help visitors.
