Dr Tariq Mehmood new K-P textbook board member

He has also served as the secretary of the Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education in Malakand

The Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa government has appointed Dr Tariq Mehmood as a member (PSP) of the provincial Text Book Board.

A senior officer and an educationist in the E&SE department of K-P, Dr Mehmood previously served as the secretary of the Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education in Malakand.

He has also served as a teacher, headmaster, principal, district education officer, and even as an assistant professor at the University
of Haripur.

He also served  as the principal of the Benevolent Public School and College in Peshawar and was awarded the “Best Principal” award in 2009 by the K-P government.

He was handed his new charge on the recommendation of the selection board at the Elementary & Secondary Education Department.

Having completed his PhD in Education from Preston University in Islamabad, he has authored several research papers related to the field of education.
