Your Stars Today

Aries | March 20 – April 18

Those around you are insisting that you make plans that extend beyond the next few days. However, changes are in the air that would mean rethinking everything. You’re right. The Aries Full Moon, next Thursday, 5 October, will raise questions about arrangements you simply assumed would proceed as they currently stand.

Taurus | April 19 – May 19

The time has come to be frank. While you’ve had good reason to sidestep certain issues, both because you’ve nothing to suggest and they upset others, they know more than you realise. Once you start talking things over, you’ll be amazed how many options you discover, many of them completely unexpected.

Gemini | May 20 – June 20

As a Gemini, you have a mixed relationship with details. While you find some fascinating, and will pore over interesting facts and figures for hours, others bore you. Still, you can’t avoid the latter. And if you ignore certain details for much longer, you could actually cause yourself, and others, problems.

Cancer | June 21 – July 21

While nobody would blame you for taking the brusque attitude of certain individuals personally, their mood is all about them and has nothing to do with you. They’ve been dealing with issues of which you’re unaware and, worse, they can’t discuss them. Knowing that, be as understanding as possible. The rest can wait.

Leo | July 22 – August 21

Remember, there’s a difference between making a plan and that plan being final. As a fire sign, you focus on whatever you’re doing at the time. Your intention is for that to be the best possible, and to last. Yet with so much in transition, instead regard arrangements as a bit of an experiment.

Virgo | August 22 – September 21

Not only do you have good reason to be annoyed with one particular individual and the problems their actions have caused, they’ve made no effort to put things right. There’s more to this than you realise. For now, back off, and say nothing. You’ll soon learn what was going on behind the scenes.

Libra | September 22 – October 22

If ever there was a time to think things through, and to an extent you’ll be able to stand up to the questions of others, it’s now. While you’ve thought these matters over yourself, you’ll want to organise your thoughts in such a way you can explain your views and, if necessary, discuss them at length.

Scorpio | October 23 – November 21

For you, as a Scorpio, trust is always earned. And keeping your trust means being loyal in times of challenge or stress. However, you could easily mistake what others suggest or recommend, advice you’d rather not hear, as being disloyal. It’s not. And their advice isn’t just wise, it’s worth taking.

Sagittarius | November 22 – December 20

It’s true, usually gathering information and checking out the facts are a vital part of organising even the simplest of plans. But now, not only is there little time for that, what you’re undertaking is so new, and such an innovation, you may have to organise things as you proceed.

Capricorn | December 21 – January 18

Acknowledging to yourself that you’ve made mistakes is difficult enough, but you must do so with certain rather arrogant individuals, and you’re dreading it. However, because this is a changeable period, and everybody’s bound to get a few things wrong, the individuals in question are struggling to conceal their own errors.

Aquarius | January 19 – February 17

Usually you find the business of strategising what you’ll tell others, and when, both tedious and pointless. But recent events and, even more, the reaction of certain individuals have made it clear you’re better off being selective about what you say, and to whom. This isn’t forever, but for now, it’s essential.

Pisces | February 18 – March 19

There’s no avoiding it. You not only must you say a firm ‘no’ to somebody, you can’t explain why, at least now. The individual in question will probably try to make you feel guilty. But that’s part of the problem. They’re manipulative, and in fact, are incapable of being straightforward.
