Authored by Catherine Scott-Clark and Adrian Levy, the book is an insider’s account of Al-Qaeda after 9/11, detailing the history of the terrorist network, from 2001 to the present, and revealing dark realities of its schemes. No further details of Abbottabad have been revealed yet.
Bhardwaj’s last film was Rangoon, which starred Kangana Ranaut, Saif Ali Khan and Shahid Kapoor but did not perform well at the box office.
The film-maker has earlier adapted Macbeth (Maqbool), Othello (Omkara) and Hamlet (Haider). He has also helmed classic tales Ruskin Bonds’s The Blue Umbrella and Susanna’s Seven Husbands (7 Khoon Maaf) into films.
