Drug trafficker arrested

Police also seized 1,110 liters of locally brewed liquor

BAHAWALPUR: The Bahawalpur police raided different hideouts and arrested three drug pushers and seized narcotics from their possession on Monday.

A police official said that Baghdadul Jadeed Police Station Sub-Inspector Muhammad Arshad and his team were patrolling in Chak No. 7/BC when they were informed that accused Muhammad Saddique, Munir Ahmad and Muhammad Saeed were brewing liquor in a house.

'Drug traffickers possibly using PIA to smuggle narcotics' 

The team immediately raided the spot and captured one of the accused while his accomplices fled the scene. The culprit was identified as Muhammad Saeed. The police also seized 1,110 liters of locally brewed liquor.
