'Asian countries need to come together'

ISLAMABAD: The three-day Asia Peace Film Festival (APFF) concluded on Wednesday at Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA), spreading the message of peace and harmony among different countries. Speaking at the concluding ceremony, Information Ministry Secretary Sardar Ahmed Sukhera said that bringing creative people together from across the Asia was the need of the hour. Sukhera said that it was very important for Asian countries to come closer to each other through such social and cultural events because it would help them in developing better understand of each others’ values and issues. He highlighted the importance of promoting more people-to-people contact among all the regions and countries of the Asian continent.
