Bipasha Basu opens up on hurtful 'bitter' split with John Abraham

Dostana star John Abraham met former girlfriend Bipasha Basu on the sets of his debut film Jism and soon after, the two started dating, informs Catchnews. Rumour had it that the duo was really serious about their relationship and the two were planning to tie the knot soon.



Reportedly, matters between the two, who are now happily married to different spouses, grew sour and they terminated their relationship on a bitter note. While Bipasha Basu is now married to actor Karan Singh Grover, John is married to Bollywood outsider Priya Runchal.

Far from maintaining a cordial relationship after the break-up, the estranged couple refused to even speak to each other. "No. It was definitely not amicable. No break-up is ever amicable. Otherwise, no one would break up. There are always reasons. Otherwise, there won't be any break-ups," Bipasha remarked in a recent interview.

When Bipasha was asked why she is not friends with her exes, the actress said, “See if your ex is an as***** it’s not possible. But if your ex is a good human being and things didn’t gel well between you then, of course, it’s possible, but it depends.”

Delving further on her relationship with John, Bipasha said, "I felt abandoned, immediately things went wrong with me. It was like I gave my most to the person I loved, I left many opportunities, many projects just for that person. But soon I realised that we weren't meant to be," she claimed.
