Two get life term in murder case

Court also imposed a fine of Rs0.2 million as compensation money

SARGODHA: A court awarded life term to two men for their involvement in a murder case in Sargodha.

The judgment was announced by Additional Sessions Judge Javed Iqbal Ranjha. The prosecution told the court that accused Muhammad Irfan, Nazar Muhammad and Muhammad Imran had killed a man Muhammad Aslam over a dispute in 2013.

'Desecration of Quran: Man given life sentence

The local police registered a case against the accused and presented the challan before the court. After hearing the arguments, the judge handed down life sentence to Muhammad Irfan, Nazar Muhammad. The court also imposed a fine of Rs0.2 million as compensation money. However, the judge acquitted co-accused Muhammad Imran on benefit of doubt.
