A security official confirmed the attacks with The Express Tribune.
10 killed in Afghan attack on Chaman
“The first grenade fell on the Afghan side near zero point at about 1.25pm in which two Afghan security personnel and 12 civilians were injured,” he said. “The second grenade fell in front of FC Quarter Guard in which five Frontier Corps personnel and two children were wounded.”
Children were shifted to Combined Military Hospital (CMH) Landikotal by the Khyber Khasadar Force (KKF) and Quick Response Force (QRF), the official added.
It was not immediately clear as to how the militants reached the gate; however, a source said grenades were lobbed from a truck that crossed into Afghanistan.
