ISLAMABAD: Special Investigation Unit (SIU) of Islamabad police has arrested a drug pusher who was involved in supplying drugs to students and recovered 7.20 kilogram hashish from him, a police spokesman said.

An SIU team raided the hide out of drug pusher at Mohallah Pind Mistrian near Nilore Factory and arrested Qais Khan a resident of Khyber Agency. Police recovered 7.20 kilogram hashish from him while further investigation is underway.

During preliminary interrogation he confessed to supply drugs in educational institutions.

The arrest of the suspect was made possible after SP (Investigation) Zeeshan Haider, acting on an information, constituted a special team consisted of DSP CIA Muhamamd Ashraf Shah, Sub-Inspector Muhammad Azam, ASI Ashfaq Mehmand. The team was able to track down and arrest Qais.
