At least 14 lives were lost and 563 serious injuries occurred during the accidents. Victims of these incidents were shifted to different hospitals of relevant districts and tehsils. However, around 207 victims, who sustained minor injuries, were discharged on the spot after receiving first aid by emergency medical teams.
Road accident claims woman's life
According to data, 263 drivers, 15 underage drivers, 110 pedestrians and 411 passengers were among the victims of these crashes.
The statistics show that 135 accidents were reported to the Lahore Control Room and these incidents affected 131 people. The provincial capital was therefore had the most mishaps followed by Faisalabad with 81 victims and Gujranwala with 49 road crashes and 61 victims.
Pakistan's only research centre for road accidents shuts down
The details further showed that 784 victims were affected by the incidents, including 611 males and 173 females. At the same time, 110 of the affected people were under 18 years of age, 452 were between 18 and 40 years and the remaining 222 victims were reported to be above 40 years of age.
