Man beaten to death with sticks

Victim suffered critical injuries and was shifted to a local hospital where he succumbed to injuries

SARGODHA: A young man was killed over a dispute in Bhera police limits on Thursday.

Police said Muhammad Imran, a resident of Murarak Village, had an argument with Arshad over litigation issues three days back. On the day of the incident, accused Arshad along with Sanaullah, Noman and others beat Imran with sticks and fled the scene. The victim suffered critical injuries and was shifted to a local hospital but he succumbed to injuries.

Meanwhile, a four-year-old child was killed in a road accident in Laksian police limits. Police said Ali Hassan and his father Muhammad Nawaz, were crossing a road near Sial Morr when a speedy vehicle hit them. As a result, Ali died on the spot.
