Plot leaks for new James Bond film

British actor Daniel Craig previously confirmed that he will return to the James Bond franchise and reprise the role of the immaculate spy one last time.

However, it seems like the new Bond movie will have a different ring to it, wedding bells maybe?

Page Six has recently revealed that James Bond is set to be married in the most-awaited 007 film Bond 25, set for a November 2019 release. According to a Hollywood insider, Bond will quit the secret service and marry the woman he loves.

This will prove to be a huge move for the famous womaniser however, his beloved wife is said to be killed; leading to a Taken-style revenge twist.



“Bond quits the secret service. He's in love and gets married,” a source told the New York post. They further provided that “Bond will return to the secret service after his wife is killed.”

In the most recent Bond movie Spectre, Bond’s love interest Madeleine Swann, was played by French actress Léa Seydoux.  It has been reported that as Bond 25 opens, the pair will already be married.

Craig only recently confirmed his intention to reoccur in the Bond series, having previously suggested he was planning to quit the lucrative franchise due to “personal reasons.”



He was asked about his plans to return to the franchise by Stephen Colbert on The Late Show to which he replied, “Yes. I couldn't be happier. I've been quite cagey about it. I've been doing interviews about it all day and people have been asking me.”

He added, “I've been kind of coy but I kind of felt like, if I was going to speak the truth, I should speak the truth to you.”

He admitted that he had always wanted to return to the role but confirmed the next Bond movie will sadly, be his last. “I think this is it. This is it. I just want to go out on a high note, and I can't wait,” he shared.



Craig has previously starred in Casino Royale, Quantum of Solace, Skyfall and Spectre.

On another note, rumour has it that iconic pop queen Beyoncé – who recently gave birth to twins - may pattern after Adele and croon the theme song of Bond 25.

The 7/11 singer might also draw in rapper husband Jay Z to lend a hand stringing together the track’s lyrics.

"The two spoke before Queen Bey’s first meeting with film bosses and Adele told her how co-writing and performing a Bond theme gave her an amazing career hike,” a source told The Star. “Not many of the themes have been as successful but there are tens of millions of Beyoncé fans out there,” they added.

“To tie-up a deal with Beyoncé for a theme song for Daniel’s fifth appearance as 007 would really be the icing on the cake," a senior executive for Hollywood studio MGM added. While the pop queen hasn’t officially signed on the dotted line, producers have extremely high hopes.
