Eidul Azha: Sheikh Rasheed to sacrifice camels

Political leaders have bought sacrificial animals to their own liking

RAWALPINDI: Political leadership of the garrison city is all set to celebrate Eidul Azha with religious fervour and zeal. In pursuance of the precedent set by Hazrat Ibrahim, political leaders have bought sacrificial animals to their own liking. Awami Muslim League (AML) chief Sheikh Rasheed has purchased two camels to sacrifice on Eid. He will be offering Eid prayers at Liaquat Bagh. Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Hanif Abbasi will be offering his Eid prayers at Jamia Mosque of Satellite Town and latter slaughter two goats as sacrifice to fulfil the religious obligation. Another prominent leader of PML-N in the city, Sheikh Arsalan will offer Eid prayers in Jamia Masjid of his locality and later sacrifice two bulls and two goats in the name of Allah Almighty. Pakistan Peoples Party City President Babar Jadoon will offer sacrifice of a bull and three goats after saying Eid prayers at main mosque of Hazara Colony. Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) district president Zahid Hussein Kazmi is set to slaughter two bulls and two goats this Eid.
