LAHORE: The City Division Investigation Police arrested 10 people allegedly involved in extortion, fraud, murder, and robbery incidents.

Police bust three gangs of criminals

Addressing a press conference on Thursday, SP City Syed Karar Hussain Shah said that Shahdara Investigation Police arrested two suspects, namely Raza and Aziz, who were involved in extorting Rs400,000 from Awais Younas.

Investigation Police Station Misri Shah arrested a proclaimed offender Hakam, alias Ghadi, who was allegedly involved in the murder of Iqbal Masih. Investigation Police Station Ravi Road busted a drug-trafficking gang, arrested of its three members and recovered hashish worth Rs1.2 million from their custody, he added.

District-Wide Action: Criminals arrested during various raids

Shahdara Town Investigation Police arrested three members of the Sadaqat gang and recovered a million rupees in cash, five motorcycles and three pistols from their possession.
