This follows numerous leaks detailing the iPhone 8's design. The ever reliable iPhone leaker, Evan Blass, gave us a sneak peak as to what an encased iPhone 8 could look like.

Along with an internal Apple leak.

Facial Recognition

According to a number of reports, the most predominant feature of the upcoming iPhone 8 has to offer is its ability to unlock using facial recognition.

The feature is being referred to as the iPhone’s ‘crown jewel’, according to Bloomberg.

While the facial recognition is not something entirely new, what sets the iPhone 8’s 3D facial recognition feature apart from its rivals is the ability to recognise its owner in “millionths of a second”.
