Ahsan Iqbal blitzes through Aabpara station

The interior minister listened to the grievances of citizens and issued directions to address them

ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Dr Ahsan Iqbal carried out a surprise visit to the Aabpara Police station in Islamabad on Friday. While visiting the police station, the interior minister listened to the grievances of citizens there and issued directions to address their issues. “Police are bound to perform its due role in enforcing the rule of law and dispensation of justice,” Dr Iqbal said. He further directed officials to address the grievances of marginal sections of society. The interior minister urged the police officials to conduct their work good demeanour. While reviewing work on the model police station, Dr Iqbal expressed his displeasure over the slow pace of development work.
