Four arrested for peddling narcotics

RAWALPINDI: The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) has arrested four suspected drug suppliers who were allegedly involved in distributing drugs among the students of academic institutions in the garrison city.

ANF Rawalpindi intercepted a motorbike near the Judicial Colony, Gulzar-e-Quaid in Rawalpindi and arrested three people identified as Muhammad Shahbaz, Naveed Iqbal and Raja Muhammad Dawar. The three, who were residents of Rawalpindi, was found in possession of 450 grammes of hashish.

ANF officials said that they were involved in the supply of drugs to students of the Capital University of Science and Technology and Roots School. In another operation, ANF Rawalpindi arrested a local drug peddler called Naseer Khan while he was riding a motorbike near Chawan Meel Chowk on the Attock Basal Roa. They recovered 250gm of hashish from him. He was reportedly involved in distributing drugs to students of different academic institutions.
