Jordan’s Lt Gen Mahmoud A Fraihat meets Gen Zubair Hayat at GHQ

Jordan’s Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Lt Gen Mahmoud A Fraihat applauded on Tuesday the professionalism of Pakistan’s armed forces and acknowledged the sacrifices rendered by the country in fight against terrorism.

Lt Gen Fraihat, who is on a three-day official visit to Pakistan, called on CJCS Gen Zubair Mahmood Hayat at the Joint Staff Headquarters in Rawalpindi, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement.

Besides security and regional issues, the communiqué said, matters relating to enhance the level and scope of bilateral military engagements and cooperation were also discussed.
