Green Revolution: Work on eight dams in progress

25,000 acres of barren land will be brought under cultivation in these districts

The K-P government has expedited work on construction of eight small dams in the province. Official sources said that three dams are being constructed in Nowshera and one each in Kohat, Swabi, Abbottabad and Haripur districts.

On completion of the dams, 25,000 acres of barren land will be brought under cultivation in these districts, Radio Pakistan reported.
