He said that three officers of grade 18, one officer of grade 17 and one officer of grade 16 were also among the arrested. He said that ACE has also confiscated bribe money of Rs1 million from these officers.
He said that the anti-corruption department worked impartially without any personal prejudices.
He added that the anti-corruption establishment was working day and night to wipe out corruption on the directives of Punjab Government. The operation would continue till the elimination of corrupt mafia, he added.
Bhutta claimed that the protest by All Pakistan Clerks Association (APCA) was an act to stop the anti-corruption drive against the corrupt mafia but any pressure would not be tolerated in this regard. He said that ACE was taking action according to the law.
