Rabid dog bites 4, 1 dies from shock

MURIDKE: A rabid dog bit four people, who were hospitalised on Tuesday.

A mother of one of the victims had a heart attack from the shock and died the same day.

According to residents of Watuke, a rabid dog was seen running loose in the streets and bit Irfan, Tahir, Chand and Maqbool. The injured were sent to the hospital and a witness to the incident, Tahir’s mother Rehmat Bibi, had a heart attack and died. Residents of the area protested against the local authorities and the district health officer has ordered for an operation to impound stray dogs.
