ISLAMABAD: Unidentified persons shot dead an employee of the Rawalpindi Waste Management Company (RWMC) while critically injuring another on Friday. Rescue officials said unidentified people on motorbike opened fire on Karamat Maseeh and Sagheer in Dhok Kashmirian locality on Data Ganj Bakhsh Road on early Friday morning. Officials said Karamt Masih, 40, received a bullet to his neck and died on the spot while Sagheer sustained serious injuries as he received bullets to his abdomen and left arm. He was taken to Benazir Bhutto Hospital unconscious while the body was shifted to district headquarters hospital for medico-legal formalities.
