Clarification: Student names for the deaf academy

Qazi was not a JS School student, he went to the ABSA School & College for the Deaf

KARACHI: In a story published on April 10, 2011, ‘JS Academy for the Deaf: Dancing to the beat, without hearing the music’, the shoulder read that one student went to the Indus Valley school and is now working with a fashion designer.

It referred to Munim Qazi, implying that he went to the JS School. In fact, he was a former student of Laila Dossa, who is the chairperson of the Noor-e-Ali Trust, a six-year-old school with 150 deaf students.

Qazi was not a JS School student, he went to the ABSA School & College for the Deaf. city editor
