Pakistan and India combine national anthems to make viral hit on Independence Day

We hope that such initiatives in the realm of art and pop-culture bridge the gap between two countries

'Voice of Ram', a humanitarian Facebook page just released a video featuring the Pakistani National Anthem and the Indian National Anthem sung by singers from both countries, and it is safe to say that this is perhaps the best Independence day gift ever - not just for us Pakistanis but the entire subcontinent.

The compilation, a beautiful emblem of strong vocals and heartfelt emotions celebrating the 71st Independence day of the two countries is compiled in the actual chronological order of the Youm-e-Azadi - it features the Pakistani Anthem before the Indian one.
