24 cases against medical store referred to drug court
The officials also recommended cancellation of drug licenses of two medical stores. The decision was taken in a meeting of DQCB which was chaired by Deputy Commissioner Salman Ghani on Friday. He ordered the officials to make the operation against spurious drugs result oriented and warned the drug inspectors that stern departmental action will be taken against them if they failed to curb sale and purchase of fake medicines.

Meanwhile, the DQCB decided to refer 26 cases against medical stores to the Drug Court for selling medicines without proper license. The board also decided to launch campaign against the quacks on war footing basis and action against illegal clinics.
