Your Stars Today

Aries | March 20 – April 18

Few things exasperate you more than those who waste time going over pointless details when there’s so much that could be done. Over the next week or so, however, events will reveal just how handy it is to have those facts you need to hand. You might even start keeping track of them yourself.

Taurus | April 19 – May 19

As a Taurean, and somebody born under the rulership of Venus, you’ve an instinctive understanding of the importance of tact, especially in tricky situations. Now, however, it’s the reverse. You’ll need to examine your own views, then explain them to others, and as frankly and clearly as you’re able to.

Gemini | May 20 – June 20

Don’t allow anybody or anything to undermine your confidence. Of the many lively exchanges you have, with family and friends to colleagues, nothing upsets you. But somebody has managed to get under your skin, and has triggered doubts. Ignore these. They’re far more about the individual in question than you.

Cancer | June 21 – July 21

There’s a fine line between being sticking to what you know, especially in the light of unsettling developments, and being stubborn. Tempting as it is to stick with what you know and what’s worked in the past, the world around you is changing and so, too, must your ideas about what’s wise.

Leo | July 22 – August 21

You wouldn’t think that a period as unsettled as this would lead to a golden opportunity. But the current link between your ruler the Sun and the planet of achievement, Saturn, suggests that your past efforts will pay off, spectacularly and, better yet, far more easily than you’d imagine possible.

Virgo | August 22 – September 21

To you, as a Virgo, making commitments while there’s change in the air is pointless. Although August’s two eclipses are triggering unexpected events, some of these will be so exciting they’ll justify any passing disarray or confusion. What’s more, you’ll discover how illuminating even the most unsettling of developments can be.

Libra | September 22 – October 22

The time has come to be frank. For days, if not weeks, you’ve been tiptoeing around certain potentially troublesome differences. While, thus far, you’ve managed to sidestep these, sooner or later you’ll have to address them, and in a manner that states your views with unarguable conviction. The quicker you speak up, the better.

Scorpio | October 23 – November 21

Understandably, you’re not thrilled about potential changes in elements of your life that have been central to your routine for ages. This wouldn’t just upset you, it would influence others. Familiar as these existing arrangements are, they’re outdated and could be holding you back. Changes aren’t just wise, they’re essential.

Sagittarius | November 22 – December 20

Usually you don’t give even a moment’s thought to whether or not somebody’s keeping important facts from you. That’s mostly because you don’t think that way, so it doesn’t occur others would. Yet judging by the current planetary setup, not only is it likely, with a little digging you’ll discover what it is.

Capricorn | December 21 – January 18

Everybody likes the idea of an offer that comes from out of the blue. However, you tend to expect you’ll have to work hard for such things. Still, judging by the superb alliance between the Sun and your ruler Saturn, what’s coming your way isn’t just good, it’s better than you’d have imagined possible.

Aquarius | January 19 – February 17

Now that you’d decided to say farewell to certain time consuming, and increasingly unrewarding get-togethers, life probably seems a lot rosier. In fact, now that you’ve disentangled yourself from this one in particular, you’re aware there are others that take up a lot of time and give little in return.

Pisces | February 18 – March 19

Not only is the communication planet Mercury going retrograde, because it’s accenting close alliances, personal and professional, confusion with others is inevitable. Bizarrely, however, once you begin discussing these issues, in the process of talking things through, you’ll uncover past misunderstandings that have been a source of problems for ages.
