PESHAWAR: Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) Chief Minister Pervez Khattak took strong exception to the slow pace of work on development activities in Peshawar, Mardan and Nowshera being carried out through the National Logistics Cell and Frontier Works Organisation (FWO) and directed to complete the schemes as quickly as possible.

K-P will have two new mega cities

Presiding over a high-level meeting at the Chief Minister’s Secretariat, he questioned why the pace of progress was slow despite the government providing all finances and other facilitation.

Khattak claims to reject billions in kickbacks

Khattak asked the FWO to give a timeline for the completion of construction work on the University Road in the backdrop of the Bus Rapid Transit project in Peshawar. FWO should give a schedule for the completion of different schemes, he added.
