Dinner for I'Day celebrations at PU  

Participants paid rich tribute to the people who made sacrifices for independence

LAHORE: Quaid-i-Azam University Alumni Association has hosted a dinner in connection with Independence Day celebrations at Punjab University's University Club.

Punjab Higher Education Commission Chairman Dr Nizam uddin was the chief guest on the occasion. PU Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Zafar Mueen Nasir, Arts and Humanities Faculty Dean Dr Iqbal Chawla, University of Education Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Rauf e Azam, senior columnist Hafeezullah Niazi, SSP operations Lahore Athar Ismail, SSP investigation Lahore Ghulam Mubashir Maken, QAU Alumni Association Secretary General Muhammad Murtaza Noor and other renowned personalities and former graduates of Quaid-i-Azam University Islamabad were present on the occasion.

The participants paid rich tribute to the people who made sacrifices for independence. They also lauded contribution of QAU graduates in the development of the country and recalled old memories.
